Sure, a Trump presidency would burn the Washington status quo to the ground, but who's going to build the country back up. Imposing tariffs on China and creating an authoritarian security state isn't going to help anyone.
A Trump presidency IS the status-quo. Donald Trump has been funding Democrats and establishment Republicans for decades, he has said he wants to go to Washington to cut deals with Democrats, and he has supported the same policies of Democrats in Washington D.C.
There is a time to work together, but also a time to stand on principle. Trump has abandoned many of his principles and he has broken promises with those he's worked with.
Since when do presidents do anything much? If your dead congress does not help move the law -the president is limited.. the congress does not love trump and he would never tolerate them.

It's mind numbing that Trump supporters don't even bother to think about trade wars, foreign policy (not building a wall/banning Muslims, but actual foreign policy), and that his language mimics a dictator.
I'm just tired of being told who is the proper person to vote for. I am highly suspicious of so many institutions going against this guy, a citizen. I'm tired of political dynasties. He knocked off one, I'm hoping for a second.

On one hand, you have a socialist under FBI investigation who has spent her entire career lying and scamming people into thinking she isn't a complete robot and tool of the special interests. Her running-mate is a career politician who doesn't seem to take anything seriously.
On the other hand, you have a socialist who has a history of not paying his bills, being sued for fraud, and going bankrupt. This individual is a complete low-life who is completely narcissistic, racist, and mentally unstable. His running-mate is a slick, homophobic buffoon who betrayed his belief in free markets to join a socialist on a national ticket.
Then, you have a capitalist who was successful in business and as Governor of New Mexico. He's a bit of a goofball, but fundamentally an honest and decent human being. His running-mate is a principled individual who is a smart lawyer who was a wildly popular Governor who reduced taxes and controlled spending.
The bottom line is this:
1. If you want to stop Trump, you can vote for someone who is as bad on every level, except she's mentally sane and that's Clinton.
2. If you want to stop Trump and vote for someone who believes in freedom, Vote Johnson.
3. If you support authoritarianism, socialism, racism, statism, and want a low-life egomaniac, then Vote Trump.
