Trump is backtracking on every promise, one by one.

First, he's keeping the components that make obamacare bankrupt.

Now he's keeping NATO, despite threatening to tear it apart.

He's no longer building a wall, and he's not making a strong effort to deport illegals.

Trump is becoming Obama 2.0.
Y'all can relax now.
Trump doesn't know wtf he's doing, so he'll leave everything more or less the same as obama left it.

So, to win the 2020 election, all you have to do to win is to make empty threats and promises and fool the people into voting for you.

Do you dems not understand how ridiculous you look making these claims two months before Trump even gets into office?

Trump supporters are already laughing at you dems because you were wrong about literally everything you ever said about Trump, and now you want to double down.

Fine with me. I was disgusted by Trump during the campaign and voted almost straight ticket D as a result.

If he backtracks and governs as a moderate centrist then that's WAY better than I expected of him.

I'm sure his supporters will be hating his guts after a while for telling them so many lies but honestly anyone with a brain could tell how many lies he was spewing during the campaign so it shouldn't be coming as any surprise to them.

That's what it's beginning to look like.

I was thinking the same from Trump's statements so far but then with the appointment of the alt right lunatic Bannon as chief strategist there's kind of a mixed message there. Too early to tell I think.

I love how his "wall" is now shaping up to be just a glorified fence, if it ever goes up at all. Funny thing is, the border already has some fenced areas, and of what use is that?

..and we get the floozy for four years as well. This is really going to be something, and his supporters who thought they were getting a genuine red neck are going to be aiming their guns squarely in his direction when it sinks in that the jobs are $8.75/hour and the rest of the stuff was all just blabbering from an imbecile.

Drain the swamp? So far we have just added to the crooked bas tards who dominate our political landscape and have only one goal for America: Themselves. Trump fits right in with that bunch.

Old expression: Be careful for what you wish, you just might get it.
