Just curious.....how is moving further from where the American people are a good strategy for a Presidential candidate? Moving further left is moving further away from the people.
Until democrats come out and state they are abandoning globalism and racism in a convincing way it can be expected they will continue to run on the same old crap that lost them this election.
They may try to put it in a better package but its going to be the same old bag of dirt. They need to get serious.
Right...because so many Americans were lining up to be cooks, dishwashers, landscapers, maids and nannies.

In his bizarro world, the illegals came before the poor wanted those jobs the illegals are here because DEMAND is not meeting domestic SUPPLY
How is it you guys don't seem to understand simple economics.
Dishwasher job is open.
Illegal no longer able to take job because of E-verify or whatever.
No "poor people" seem interested in this low paying job.
The management/owner has two choices:
1) eliminate the job and wash dishes themselves.
2) raise the rate so the job is more attractive and the position starts getting legal applicants.
American voters need to stop screwing blue collar workers.
Never hire immigrants to do any work. Pay 5x-6X more and hire American.
Don't eat at restaurants with immigrants working in the kitchen.
Don't use immigrants for landscaping. And don't support businesses that do.
The first place the finger needs to be pointed is in the mirror. You can't complain about immigrants while enjoying all the benefits derived from their cheap labor.
I hope you mean "illegal immigrant".
Legal immigrants have to be at least minimum wage so they're no cheaper than a high school kid.
Most folks don't ask for visa's for everybody working in the kitchen of the restaurant they're getting lunch at.
Do the Democrats have to move more to the left to win?
I wish they would go all the way ... and emasculate themselves.
No, seriously (really?), the two platforms in terms of actual policy outcomes have only subtle differences, problem is that Bill Clinton's wife was a horrible, horrible, horrible candidate, not even her husband likes her.
At the very least, next time please choose someone who has a better chance of being likeable to at least a critical mass of independents who tip the scales in every election.
The so-called democrats could scarcely have been any more obtuse in this election cycle, and they got what they deserve.
The Democrats can't keep moving left or they will continue to lose more votes in middle America. Their focus on the "urban" vote is really backfiring, it doesn't matter if they win New York or California by 80%, they can't keep losing the majority of the states. They have completely abandoned farmers who used to be a big faction in the Democratic Party. The US simply isn't ready for some of their liberal social policies and they need to realize that and go back to their roots on progressive economics.
Sanders was not a strong candidate, Hillary is and has been very unpopular and he couldn't beat her. Sanders progressive economic policies are popular in some rural areas and that shows where he beat Hillary in the primary, but he goes too far on many issues, especially social issues.
Democrats need to move back to the center on social issues and immigration, and move a little farther left on economic issues. Economically, Hillary isn't really left at all.
Edit: Whether it's true or not, the Democrats are widely perceived as corrupt and have a huge image problem, and they really need to fix that issue. I believe Hillary likely lost at least a million votes due to how independents perceive her and the party.
