The most disappointing Vice President since Dan Quayle = Joe Biden. Why on earth would the Dems run this man???

this is how corrupt the DNC is and how the Clintons hijacked that party that it wouldn't let a loyal V.P. run on his own merits.
Biden was grieving over the loss of his son. His heart just wasn't into running. He had to take care of Beau's family and they had to heal together. It had nothing to do with the Clinton's. Biden would have run otherwise.

He gave up drinking a long time ago. And my god, I hope you never have to feel the pain of your child dying before you do. It is gut wrenching and something you never get over. To be this flippant on your part is pretty mind boggling to me. You either don't have children or you just hate pretty much everyone.

I think JB is going to enjoy not being in the White House and doubt he'll ever want to go back.

And he would have crushed Trump. Biden is a very likable guy, and while he may make the occasional gaffe-don't underestimate him. He absolutely owned the vice presidential debates.

But I can see why he didnt run too. Losing family is tough. Dealing with it while the opposition is looking for ways to make that hurt? No.

I agree with you on this. I would have voted for him in this election but the Democrats need to move on when it comes to someone for 2020. Maybe like Kirsten Gillibrand (not my first choice) or Sherrod Brown or Tulsi Gabbard.

By the way, I know that it is great sport to make disparaging remarks about Biden, but having actually listened to him talk about foreign relations, that man has probably forgotten more about what is going on in the world and how to deal with other countries than a lot of people who were running will ever know.
