I suppose it will largely depend on how he does his first couple years, but if he is a disaster, I think the Republicans will mount a primary challenge in 2020.

What do you think, and who do you think would mount the challenge? Ted Cruz? Rand Paul?

Define primaried...

A few no name people ran against Obama in 2012's primaries. I really wouldn't consider him to have been primaried even though he didn't win all 50 states.

If Trump is popular within the party and fulfilled many campaign promises then I think he won't be.

I can't wait to see that attempt fail horribly.

If they want to get rid of him, they will impeach him long before then. Pence is what they want ideologically, so it is easy. Trump and his team's lack of any skills or experience in politics and their multi-faceted business conflicts will mean scandal after scandal, so there will be plenty of excuses to dump him if they choose.

Trump will do just fine and be asked to run again in 2020 when he may or may not choose to run again. I think if he gets the "ball" rolling in the right direction that he may hand the nomination over to Pence who will slam dunk the Democratic nominee off the map!

Trump's public criticism of the CIA and embracing of Assange already have many of them very nervous. They would throw him overboard in one second and slide Pence in there.
