A proper "delegate map" would have Texas in Barack's color, as he has won the delegate race there.
The same "popular" vs "delegate" situation took place in Nevada. Clinton won a 6% popular vote victory in Nevada's caucus but Obama "unofficially" won 13 delegates compared to Clinton's 12.
CNN colors these split victory states green but most media reporting reflects the popular vote.
Whats interesting is that Obama is winning largely in republican states which is a great example why he should be the nominee. Hillary tries to make the case that since she has won the big states, she could win in the general election. That case doesnt hold water because almost all the big states that she has won are blue states that Obama would still win if he were the nominee. New York, California, New Jersey, ect are not turning republican in Novemeber. Also Texas is not going blue and will vote republican in the general election. But since there was such a high turn out of democrats and republicans voting for Obama and most of the red states that he has won, clearly Obama is more electable. All Obama needs to do is hold onto the states Kerry won, which wont be a problem, and win over one or two red states, which will likely happen, and Obama wins the election.
