Support McCain or don't, but calling him "crazy" is an unwarranted smear and, well, ignorant.

Unwarranted? Anyone who supports Pastor Hagee is crazy in my book...

Under attack from the left and right for embracing Hagee, an anti-Semitic, anti-Catholic advocate of accelerating the Second Coming of Christ by triggering Armageddon in a death struggle with Iran, John McCain today could offer only a feeble defense. "In no way did I intend for his endorsement to suggest that I in turn agree with all of Pastor Hagee's views, which I obviously do not."

Staying 100 years in Iraq as long as no US soldiers get hurt? Umm...crazy.

Oh and the Arizona Republic?? they say..

But the Arizona Republic, which endorsed McCain for each of his five congressional races but has not yet made an endorsement in the presidential race, was direct.

It declared in an editorial:

"If McCain is truly a serious contender for the presidency, it is time the rest of the nation learned about the John McCain we know in Arizona. There is also reason to seriously question whether he has the temperament, and the political approach and skills, we want in the next president of the United States."

Why not just admit you're a Republican who supports McCain?

Sorry, but I'm not a Republican and I'm not supporting McCain, at this point. I just think that making up stupid names for the candidates is unwarranted. If you disagree with someone on the issues, fine, say so. But making up dumb names and innuendo besmirches the seriousness of choosing a national leader.

Get over yourself already and develop a sense of humor. I happen to think that McCain is nuts and I'm not going to apologize for it. McKOOKOO. Is George Washington rolling around in his grave yet? Suggestion: watch John Stewart, you might learn to laugh.

You really have to lighten up -

There are some really good names floating around out there - some of them the candidates themselves use to refer to themselves!

McCain is not crazy. He is just old and has a bad temper. When he debates Obama, Obama should really poke him and try to get him to lose it and take a swing!

I've been calling him WackCain ... but then I found out the brother can't even comb his own hair because of his war injuries. I'd be pretty ticked too if I couldn't comb my hair. Now I feel bad

Only if he gets to him before the debate, kidnaps him and 'debates' an Obama blow up doll.
