Both are successful businessmen turned successful politicians. Hickenlooper is doing a pretty good job here in CO. Low profile, gets things done, and has helped the state make swaths of tax revenue with pot sales. I'd be open to this.
Kasich was my favorite candidate, don't know anything about the other guy. But this idea of compromise and left and right coming together is clearly what the country needs. So naturally it wont have a shot, but I like the idea of it for sure.
I like Kasich, don't know about Hickenlooper though. Kasich was my favorite Republican candidate for president and my second favorite candidate overall. I was ...
Bernie Sanders
John Kasich
Hillary Clinton
Ron Paul
Jeb Bush
I have a lot of respect for Kasich. He didn't get nearly enough credit for sticking to the issues in a series of very nasty debates.
In reality they are both democrats.
If they run as independents it would be good. It would split the democrat vote. It would guarantee a Trump win. IMO

He was also openly against pot before it got legalized but he came around after he saw everything that has come from it. He is very open minded.
There is a reason Kasich drew zero interest as a presidential candidate. He would need a very strong showing from the Baby Boomers and after robbing Social Security, he is never going to get it.
It might be an idea whose time has come. If platform is moderate, I'd vote for them. I like both of those guys.
