I'll wait and see what CT does. Their governor and legislature never met a tax they didn't want to raise.

It's a nothing event because it is nothing. The six New England states have gone back and forth between R and D governors for decades.

Since 1980

CT = D 11+2 left years, R 16 years, I 4 years Current D
MA = D 20 years, R 18+2 left years Current R
VT = D 23.5 years, R 14+1.5 left years Current R
NH = D 20 years, R 17+1.5 left years Current R
RI = D 13 + 1.5 left years, R 14 years, I 2.5 years Current D
ME = D 15 years, R 14.5+1.5 left years, I 8 years Current R

It's pretty much a tie as to which party the governorship has belonged to.

Maine is the only state with a governor that would be considered an outsider to the socially moderate New England governors.

That doesn't explain Maryland.

I admit to being totally unaware that Republicans grabbed control of the Governorships in most of the blue Dem New England states....what's happening up there?
NE is like USA. 2/3rd GOP governors.

Same as the Bible Belt.

Its a nothing event when the same states that elected Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders have governors who dont actually follow your party platform.

Scott was elected on the same ballot that also elected a Progressive Party LT Governor.

Pretending you have an ideological win there is laughable.

in fact it is like in Europe, no matter who is in power, all govern together, before the new elections in Germany ... the country had government of conservative and socialist coalitions.what happens in New England is the same thing, the Democratic leader supports the same things as the Republican leader, there is no discordant voice, the governor of ma signs all the big government laws that Democrats pass at the state congress

New England Republicans are considered RINOs by Trumptard standards
