Trump came to Montana an unprecedented [u]four[u] times to campaign against Jon Tester's reelection bid for US Senate. Trump expressly stated that he was doing so to get revenge on Tester for leading the fight against Trump's nominee Ronnie Jackson to head the VA Administration. Trump repeatedly said that the vote was about him. Tester won reelection. Trump is the loser.

Trump did lose this one. Tester scrapped by with the thinnest of margins.

Trump has apparently won every other contested Senate race.

There have been only 4 midterm elections since 1934 in which a President's party has gained even a single Senate seat.
Republicans dominated the Senate thanks to Trump's rallies.
Trump didn't have time to campaign for House seats, except for his visit to Kentucky, and it led to victory.
Meanwhile Obama and Oprah went to Georgia and got destroyed.
Trump is the WINNER, the most powerful campaigner America has ever seen, literally winning races with his personality.

He may be a winner elsewhere, but in Montana he's a loser. We know bull**** very well.

For the most part the races in which Trump got involved, the candidate he supported WON. This wasn't one of them.

Yes, but did he fly Air Force One and all the accompanying aircraft and personnel there four times? Also, sent VP Pence at least twice and Don, Jr several times. He poured more effort into this Montana race than any other, considering the remote location and small population of this state. Comparatively, he got his a** handed to him by this state. Good for us!

I thought Montana was a conservative state. I guess not.

It seems like an odd state to dump money into. there are not very many voters in Montana. Probably could have just paid $500 per vote and won while spending less money.
