Cruz is getting desperate...
"The brown envelopes read “SUMMONS ENCLOSED- OPEN IMMEDIATELY” in large black letters, and have a return address of “official county summons.”

While the letter inside the envelope is a donation form for the Cruz campaign, there is some fear that certain voters may be confused by the mailer and think that they are required by law to pay a fee..."

Cruz did it before, during his run for president. I don’t care who does it, it’s scammy. If pI got one of these, the candidate who sent it would be on my **** list forever.

I've seen similar alarming crap before, but none that is as close to outright fraud as this one.

Cruz needs to fire the guy who sent that mailer out or he could land in federal court, and so could the guy who made it. That mailer comes right to the razor edge of breaking the election laws.

I thought Cruz might be desperate. This only proves the depth of his desperation.

I saw similar, but less egregious, mailers during the primary season here.

All of them backfired. None of the candidates who sent them were elected.

Give a person a reason to be mad at you for fooling them, and you have just lost the election. Cruz has given a lot of people good reason to be very angry with him a couple of months from now.

And he didn't lose just one voter with that stupid mailer. He lost two- the grandson who read it and his grandmother who opened it. That's how it will go in November.

Any mail that comes to this house without first class postage, goes straight to the recycle bin. Doesn't matter who sends it. Not hard to figure out. Only the Trump deranged, and Newsweek, who declared Hillary the winner of the election, might think otherwise.

And speaking of that... ... Now what I don't like, is when a loony toon leftist showed up at my door, all 300 lbs of her, and insisted that I vote for Hillary Clinton. When I told her I wouldn't vote for that crook, she got quite mad about it. Had to finally tell her to get off my property.

That is "desperate". Not a stupid piece of junk mail.

Cruz is really having far more trouble winning re-election than anyone thought.
