The Dems were dancing in the streets when they took back the house.

Of course, they had to spend $6 BILLION to win the average seats a first term President loses anyway.

They also lost 2 seats in the Senate. That has only happened 3 times before.

If little wins coming at a huge cost are what they like, well, I suppose they have already convinced themselves that the Republican party is dead and they will be WINNERS again.

IMHO, November 2020 is going to be the ultimate meltdown with activists taking to streets burning and breaking things, again. Children will be children when they don't get their way.

There were far more democratic senators at risk for reelection defeat in red or swing states in the recent election, than there were republicans. But next time, in 2020, there will be even more republican senators in difficulty for reelection. The results should be quite different and with a new democratic president and increased majority in the House, everything the Republicans and Trump tried to destroy, will be restored and then some. Despite all the republican gerrymandering and other types of election fraud they have used to prolong their demise, their game is over.

The only President since Lincoln, to lose wealth and assets since taking the Oath of Office.....
Only one since, didn't substantially increase their wealth while in office. Jimmy Carter.

I am absolutely not worried about the Dems taking the house. They are intrinsically disorganized and will consume themselves with their own rhetoric. Here is an example from the once great NYT

But even more ambitious than Medicare-for-all is what’s known as the Green New Deal. While echoing the language of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s New Deal, the Green New Deal could be an even more sprawling government and economic overhaul. Championed by groups such as the Sunrise Movement and Justice Democrats, the plan would aim to combat both climate change and income inequality – and has been picked up by lawmakers such as Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez.

“We are calling for a wartime-level, just economic mobilization plan to get to 100% renewable energy ASAP,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted.

Trump on the other hand has a real agenda for the next year. When he gets "the wall" it can be built in 90 days.

pull-EEZ!

The current border security fence has been under construction since 2006.

It's far from completed.

But then , it isn't funded by a huge influx of Mexican cash.

Maybe Mexican workers can build the wall?

One of the many reasons people voted for Trump is he always wanted to try new ideas. If you can't do something one way, do it another way. Criticizing him for trying says a lot. Its easier to walk away, and far easier to be an armchair quarterback,

Risk takes courage and determination. It's what we admire and what we admire in him. So he fails or can't get there all the way.

Big deal. He tries!!!

2020
It's going to be Epic.
