They do not really want to try that failed strategy again. Do they?

They’ve flat out said Trump is guaranteed to lose and any candidate can beat him. So yes I think they could

I'm looking forward to it.

It's going to be great to watch this upcoming circus dog & pony show.

Will be interesting to see if the 800 lb gorilla called Hillary decides to join the party and run the clown's show. Remember of all these clowns, she still holds the reigns of the money machine.

Elizabeth Warren announced plans on Tuesday to hit the warpath in Iowa. She has not formally declared yet, but her announcement of an exploratory committee allows her to raise big wompom in advance of the expected eventuality.

Elizabeth Warren begins courting Iowa voters as Democrats target 2020

A day after moving toward a 2020 White House bid, Sen. Elizabeth Warren announced plans Tuesday to speak at events in Iowa, where the first votes in the race are cast. Warren, D-Mass., listed planned appearances in the state on her Facebook page, with stops scheduled for Saturday in the cities of Des Moines, Sioux City, and Storm Lake, 13 months before caucus voting begins there in February 2020.

Warren said Monday that she had launched an exploratory committee to run for president in the next election, which allows her to raise money without formally declaring. In doing so, Warren effectively became the highest-profile Democrat to jump into a race that is expected to include many competitors.

So, who will pile into the Democrat's presidential clown car? Here are a few names that I predict. Whoever else you think is going to run, please do let us know.

Bernie Sanders
Hillary Clinton
Joe Biden
Elizabeth Warren
Terry McCauliffe
Rahm Emmanuel
Michael Bloomberg
Eric Holder
Kamala Harris
Corey Booker
Elizabeth Warren
Kristen Gillibrand
+ maybe a dozen more

And who will be the final four? Any guesses? And why do you think that?

I think that the final three will be Kamala Harris, Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden. Kamala Harris from the "Identity Politics" and "Political correctness" wing of the party. Bernie Sanders from the hardcore socialist wing of the party. And Joe Biden from the establishment elite wing of the party. As far as a fourth, I am leaving open a spot for a surprise.
Sherrod Brown as well.

Biden could win. Yes, he is old and says crazy things, but Trump would be uniquely unsuited to make that case against him because, well, the pot and the kettle.

For some reason, I think Harris has an outside chance. She supports cop-killing and illegal immigration, has referred to ICE as NAZIs and seems perpetually aggrieved, nasty, and angry. But in this bizzaro-America we live in, I think she could win just because she is female and black. Average swing voter:

"Well, I am against her support of cop-killers, but I am for her being black policy and being female policy. I hope she gets a nobel prize, too."

Something like that. Most to the rest, i don't know why they are running.

Warren committed the greatest of leftist sins: she tried to steal grievance that belonged to another group. It wasn't evnough to be a woman, she has to be a "woman of color."

Corey "Spartacus" Booker is a bonafide idiot. He should have "idiot" stamped on his forehead.

Holder is an angry ****bag. I would be shocked if this guy's own family voted for him.

Gillibrand is Hillary with even less charisma.

Sanders is a one trick guy. We have seen these kinds of protest candidates in the past: Buchannan, Huckabee...they never have a second go around. And Sanders looks to be well over one-hundred years old.

Hillary would not make it though the election. The entire world saw the strain almost kill her. Besides, she is a corporate hack and not in line with the new, openly Communist left.

Brown and Bloomberg...I will reserve judgement, but preliminarily they do not look impressive, and being white men is an instant, huge handicap.

No one else is worth talking about.

The Dems are still working hard to destroy Trump and sap from his supporters by making them out to be a bunch of racist deplorables which means that we will probably be looking at a Democrat win in 2020 and then given the front runners on your list OP LORD HELP US!
Nah. The Democrats aren't working at all to destroy Trump. He's doing all the heavy lifting all by himself.

Thanks for your plea to the almighty, though. We can all use some divine help right now, and the sooner it comes, the better it will be for us all.

If you think the Democrats are going to rely on big donors, you are very sadly mistaken. There are a dozen major small-donor groups that have been organized by veterans, moderates, and Democrats of all stripes, and it was the small donor who won all those Democratic House elections this year.

Obama created the small-donor data base, used it to victory twice, and passed it all around to all the others who have refined it since. The 2018 election showed there are 50.5% of us who are actually eager to kick in a few bucks to get Trump defeated, as 2018 was all about him.

I expect 2020 will be much stronger than 2018. This shutdown debacle is going to leave a lasting mark on Trump that voters won't be forgetting for quite a while in both parties.

While I doubt the Big Donor will never die- they're like vampires- I expect them to lie unquietly in their coffins in 2020. The Kochs and the Mercers have already given it up, and others in both parties will follow. Getting tagged with Big Donor support was like getting bitten in the neck in 2018, so once bitten, twice shy next time.
