Whew. The Obama campaign must be in a tizzy. A hispanic, Obama supporting woman, concerned for the welfare of an AA tree climbing kid. Presume if she'd only screamed out "you g****mn white, KKKof Amerika kids" this would've been a non-issue.

This reminds me of the storyline in Clerks II where Randall is going to take back "porch monkey".

Yow, Obama's minions are really afraid.

What did this woman do? She told some neighbor kids who happened to be black to stop playing in a tree like "monkeys" because she was afraid of them getting hurt. Obama's campaign apparently didn't want to be associated with this horrible "racist."

All I know is that I'm white and my parents called me a "monkey" all the time when I was a kid and would climb trees. That's the image that comes to mind when you see a kid of any color swinging from a tree. Do you think the term "monkey bars" is racist?

Yet this man supported Jeremiah Wright for 20+ years...

23 years. He calls Wright a "close friend", "my mentor", "my spiritual guide", and "an inspiration to my book".

It's too late for Obama to try and hide all the racists, bigots, dividers, and hatemongers that support and surround him. Obama is too involved with haters too try and sell a fake image that he "transcends race" and that he is a uniter".

Too late!! I am going McCain.

This thread wasn't about Wright, and anyone who thinks using the word "monkey" to refer to kids climbing trees is racist needs to get over themselves.
