While we play gotcha and he said/she said China is buying up farm land world wide and preparing for that emerging crisis. We are asking our candidates what? We are determing what their plans are for?

The POWERMUTT Project

Which candidate is articulating the best plan for the acquisiton and allocation of food supplies in the next 20 years?

Yes it is what China should be doing. They so to speak are taking care of business. Are we? Are we developing resources for long term use? I don't think so otherwise we wouldn't have the energy issue we have moving forward. You ask don't we do the same thing? We should be and my question is which candidate is articulating their plan to do so? China is just an example. If global warming erodes sea level what happens to the bread basket of Europe? If climates change current farm land become arid? Drought in the bread basket and our back up plan is?

Our back up plan?? What was our back up plan for higher gas prices? Our back up plan will be to gripe like we always do while we buy yet a bigger SUV and move further away from work! If it gets too bad, I guess we will develop a taste for boiled dog!
