Obama's new strategy in closing the deal is acting like the nominee. He will be focusing more on John MCCain and will even visit states that have already voted like Ohio and Pennsylvania. Obama still plans to visit the last several states that remain on the primary calendar. The Obama campaign has planned a victory speech at the end of May or early June. Hillary's campaign manager did say the race will end in early June and that if Hillary is not the nominee they will support Obama. This is a clear indication that Hillary does not plan to fight this out til the convention.
Obama's got a confident new strategy - Los Angeles Times (broken link)
I dare anyone to find a more stupid video then that one. It is not even clear to me what it is about. Further the comment section must have gotten so bad that the OP removed the comment feature.
IDK--but if I was scheduling appearances for him I'd be sure to include Martinsburg, Harpers Ferry, or Charles Town. He'd get an incredible reception. A high percentage of the people living in the northeastern edge of the state commute to DC, or are Virginians who retired to less expensive WV.
I think he's probably just gonna hold a rally or two there with somebody like Jerry Springer. He'll probably get trounced by 30 points. Look for hillary to claim momentum
Hmmm... that could be a good strategy. If she needs one last win to be able to give a dramatic speech and "walk away with dignity" Obama will probably lay low and concentrate on other places.
wow, i thought for sure that if hillary lost she would run independant! This suprises me...
She does not have the strength to run as an independent and she still has a shot at being vp or governor of NY or whatever else she might like to be. The good lesson here is that it is not true that if you put your mind to something you can work to achieve it, but if you put you mind to something you may end up doing something different than you expected, but just as meaningful. We only have on President, and we cannot all be it! And in this case, the old adage of it is not if you win or lose, but how you play the game, that may be the winning ticket.
