JERUSALEM – There is a "good possibility" Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice could be chosen as Sen. John McCain's presidential running mate, Palestinian officials here say they were told by U.S. politicians in recent days.

"We were told by U.S. politicians there is a good possibility we may still be dealing with Rice in the future, but this time as vice president," one Palestinian official told WND.

Officials: 'Good possibility' McCain will pick Rice

Why would he do that? That's like Bush Third Term X 2. Double Double Talk Express

Obviously, McCain wants to capture the female AND black vote in one stroke.

Sorry. Not credible that the Palestinians would be told something like this.

Good for McCain! I have to give him a great round of appreciation for that. It will make Obama's job that much easier come fall. Nothing will remind voters more of the failed Bush presidency than his top cabinet member on McCain's ticket! The only other better choice he could have made would be Cheney!

I wonder what'll happen to the white racists who'll never vote for anyone black. They can't vote democrat (because of Obama), and they can't vote republican (because of Rice), and they can't vote for Barr (he's both black and white). And they can't vote for Nader (who's got Lebanese ancestry). The poor white supremacists will have no place to hide.

I can just see the dem ads "we don't want it to be in the form of a mushroom cloud". Rice has repeatedly denied she would accept the veep spot.

As an Obama fan, I got a jump up and down and say WooHoo!

There's no better way to connect McCain with the biggest failures of the Bush Administration than to pick one of the biggest failures of the Bush Administration as a VP choice!

This just in:

McCain determined to lose Presidential race inside the United States.

That would be exactly what McCain doesnt want to do. The democrats are already framing McCain as being a 3rd Bush term and Condi Rice represents the heart of that. having a black on the republican ticket is not going to sway black democrats over to the republican side. But hey im an Obama supporter so dont let me stop McCain from putting Condi on the ticket. It just makes it easier for Obama to win.

I have always wanted to se a debate between Condi Rice and Michelle Obama though.

Barr is all white. I can assure of that. He lives not too far from me and was my Congressman before redistricting.
