BTW, in case you want to complain about the poll, not only is SUSA highly respected but two other recent polls, Susquehanna and Rasmussen also show Obama beating McCain in Pa.
PA is a blue state, I wouldn't be too surprised, the swing states in that region are Ohio which will most likely still stay a Red state.

Pennsylvania will go to McCain if he is the nominee, but it would go to Hillary if she was nominee. There are a lot of centrist and conservative democrats in PA.....PA democrats represent the old style democrats.....mostly pro-labor, while Obama is more the left wing liberal "progressive" pinko commie type. Other than Philadelphia area, which is liberal, PA will not vote for Obama. Too liberal. Bush only lost PA in 04 by a few points.

Pennsylvania Presidential Election Voting History Quinnipiac Poll on 5/1 shows Obama leading by 9% with 15% undecided in other words most discontent Hillary supporters would have to swing McCains way, it'll definetly be a close one.

Fixed, but still a bit too hopeful.

Those polls over the primaries have been very accurate.

North Carolina always goes republican. Even if Hillary were the nominee, North Carolina is voting for John McCain.

There is no doubt that most votes for Obama would be coming out of the Philadelphia area. But there were a lot of Clinton voters in the Eastern portion of the state that may switch sides. Most Democratics I know from PA are still voting Democratic regardless.
