Polls mean little to the big picture IMHO and the general populous. Are you going to change your vote based on polls? Nope, I could poll the same 100 people over and over again and based on how asked or context of question get different results each time. Polls are numbers and numbers are easy to manipulate.

Oh, we'll see the polls in Novemeber, too. In the meantime, a large segment of the public will enjoy tracking the electorate's sentiments. And it will give the news media more fodder to fill their 24 hour news cycles. So don't expect them to suddenly disappear.
