Well is he? He has flipped on many positions he held when he was with the GOP, but people's views and opinions do change. My opinion of the Iraq war a while ago was stay in it for the long haul no matter what. Today I am more inclined to start withdrawing troops now. I don not consider myself a Libertarian. I am an Independent and a conservative on many issues. Even so I am considering supporting Barr.

Dispite what they claim a lot of the Obama slammers on here are Barr or Paul supporters in wolf clothing. If Hillary were winning they would be rallying for Obama and how he has been mistreated. A lot of them are Gold advocates and want to see the collapse of the dollar. They post in other topics as such with either the same name here or a different one. I know I am just speculating or am I?

I am a Ron Paul meet-up organizer and I will vote for Bob Barr in November if Ron Paul is not on the ballot. He is certainly not Ron Paul and I do not agree with him on all the issues but he is a Conservative and is for liberty and freedom....

None.

A vote for candidate X is a vote for candidate X and no one else.

Only sheeple think otherwise.

You can't prove that all of Nader's votes would have gone to Gore. If Nader had not run, surely some of those voters would have stayed home. He may have gotten more voters from the Democrats' camp than Bush's, but those votes were still for Nader, not for Bush.

No scientific evidence = point unproven.

So, do you think Bob Barr would gain votes that would have otherwise gone to Obama or McCain? Is what Im asking.

It's nearly impossible to predict. Why bother?

It could be argued this sort of tin foil hat conspiracy theory nonsense "steals" votes from libertarians, constitutionalists, and green party candidates. Perhaps if this tripe was dropped, Ross Perot would've been prez in '92?

It's like asking if I decided to drive to work 5 minutes later than I actually did, would I have been in an accident?
