Republicans do not like McCain or Bush so for them to win any type of elections they are trying to connect themselves to Obama.

Republicans know Obama will win and connecting themselves with McCain is not good for their career.

Well a Republican who have been in politics for yrs understands that Obama will be the next president which is why he is willing to make a connection with Obama then McCain.

He will not be the last Republican to separate from their own party.

Sad sad sad. Republicans you guys are screwed.

THANK YOU GEORGE BUSH YOU DID DEMS A FAVOR. NOW WE WILL TAKE THE OFFICE.

It is a sad state of affairs when the only way to win is to be better than the worst president in history.

Yeah, the point is that whoever becomes president for the rest of our lives will never need to worry about being the worse. It's like looking at the biggest fool & knowing you will never be that dumb. But the worse part of all this is that Republicans will be forever connected to Bush [just like Nixon] & squirm when they are reminded what their party unleashed on the nation.

Bush is, of-course, an inept criminal, so what does that say about those who corroborated with him in their votes? [accomplices are also held accountable in the eyes of the law

There is also this unspoken perception that the Democratic congress should get off with no blame. Both parties had a hand in the mess, Dems not as much as the Republicans, however there is plenty of blame to go around.

Here in Wa. they're trying to shed the Republican party label completely. Even Faux News has taken notice:

Obama will win? You really think so? I still have faith that American's have more on the ball than to vote Obama in to office. I'm not surprised that a Republican from Oregon is supporting him though. I don't think it comes as a shock to most that Oregon, in particular the Western portion, is a liberal haven. Sadly, just because someone calls themselves a Republican no longer means they are conservative, just look at McCain. Still in all McCain is a safer choice then Obama as revolting as it might seem.

It is certainly refreshing to see that some in Washington can still work together to achieve common goals and rise above the stale partisan politics.

I like the fact that you will spin anything to support your base but sadly the republican leaders see something that you do not. They are a politicans 24/7 so maybe what they are doing separating themself is because they know something you do not which is Republicans are doomed thanks to Bush.

If McCain is so safe then why are all the Republicans trying to separate themselves from him. Republican politicans feels it is safer to get on the Obama ticket them a Republican ticket. Sad sad sad.

But I do Thank George Bush and if you happen to see him tell him I thank him.
He handed the White house to the Dems.

Stop spinning it is what it is.
