Considering Bush's historically low approval ratings, these poll results from Gallup should definitely concern John McCain supporters.

Yup and he is now starting to run the same type of campaign that Bush did which just makes the comparison inevitable. Fear, guns, race etc

Ahh, as if Obama isnt on the same path? They are both very unlikely to change direction much from the current administration...its going to be like watching the Titantic try to make a K turn...you wont see anything.

McCain's doing a horrible job of getting the Bush monkey off his back. Who does he have on his campaign? Horrid strategy.

At the same time Obama consistently comes out below McCain on defending the country. That should really concern Obama supporters. In fact seaverl polls show McCain ahead of Obama on the Iraq war now. That is a big switch from the same polls earler.

His Bush-era strategists are trying to send the same beam of light that used to glow so brightly into the eyes of the dear old crowd of happier times...but the light, it's fading...fading.... I guess once you start killing off their sons and making them choose between food and medicine they just start to balk. Ungrateful sub-base!
