  • The new poll is up, and will close just before midnight on July 10th with the poll results and new poll posted on July 11th.
  • This week, we saw a see-saw of votes and shifts. Obama's lead fluctuated by over 30% during the course of this poll. In the end, Obama (D) came out ahead of McCain (R) for the 5th straight polling cycle. Obama captured 45% of the votes while McCain captured 42% of the votes. Obama had a 3% lead; which is down from his 11% lead last poll and it is his smallest lead since June 25th. Bob Barr (L) only earned 6% of the votes, down from the 8%-10% he had consistently recieved in each cycle. 4% chose "other" while 3% stated that they were not going to vote. Nader (I) recieved no votes.
  • There were 115 votes cast, the most so far and twice as many as we saw last time and the time before that.
  • In this poll's 6 cycles, no candidate has recieved half of the votes.

Default Number manipulation in just concluded poll

Please read the summary of the just concluded poll and compare that with the final vote and tell us if that is the way you were taught to round numbers?

his week, we saw a see-saw of votes and shifts.

Barack Obama (D) 53 45.69%
John McCain (R) 48 41.38%
Bob Barr/Wayne Allyn Root (L) 7 6.03%
Ralph Nader/Matt Gonzalez (I) 0 0%
Other 5 4.31%
Not voting 3 2.59%

Is this the way your math teacher taught you to round numbers off?

Most of us were taught if it was below .5 then you round down
Above .5 you round up.
Hmmm you did just the opposite you rounded McCain who was at 41.38 up and Obama at
45.69 down. Did you think the readers to DUMB to check and figure out your manipulation to make it closer? If you round them Obama won by 4% and if you don't round them he won by 4 plus percent. Now please don't say this is more liberal harassment for you earned it this time my friend. Yes world not everyone in City-Data tells the truth. Very few give you the actual numbers to confirm it. So for that we are thankful for the expose. Yes America this is how intelligent the right considers you to be. They go to private high schools (McCains now cost 38K) and hope that guarantees them the good life based on relationships.
No wonder we are lagging behind the world in science and math.

hahaha, he will do anything for McCain to win one of these polls. I won't be surprised if he made multiple accounts to vote and bring McCain closer.

I'd hate to be your child if you always to jump to conclusions so fast. Could have been a mistake? At least ask then draw conclusions.
