The expected Republican nominee again identified the Czech Republic as Czechoslovakia – a day after a similar slip.

few months ago, McCain told talk radio host Don Imus that he would “work closely with Czechoslovakia and Poland and other countries”

Washington Wire - WSJ.com : McCain Slips Again on Czech Republic

Apparently someone in his campaign who can actually use a computer, corrected McCain's ignorance from yesterday:

John McCain 2008 - John McCain, tragically incompetent and ignorant of foreign and domestic policy (http://www.johnmccain.com/mccainreport/Read.aspx?guid=93442928-264c-4bc0-9a18-ec13234acc60 - broken link)

his age is showing or his lack of current events regarding nations. I hope he picks a good VP because if elected I expect him to be as senile as Reagan was half way through his term.

I think he's going to be sad when one of his staffers lets him know that the USSR no longer exists.

Let's hope when he visits Russia he doesn't still think Gorbachev is still running the show and ask for the guy with the coffee stain on his forehead.

You would think that part of extensive Foreign Policy knowledge you would at least know who, what and where you are talking about. Age or ignorance, this could be a bad sign.

I can see him talking to his advisers and saying "Well God Dammit, they need to change there name back if I become President. I didn't care to learn about those funny buzzing boxes filled with knowledge and attached to those magic moving boxes so why should I hafta learn the new name of a country. This is America's world dammit."

From what I have seen on Obama and his trip, he is doing excellent and is being well recieved. he is also not going out into markets and claiming to be as safe as US markets while being shadowed by hundreds of troops, tanks and helicopters.
McCain is looking so out of water when it comes to the Presidential race. I cannot wait for one of his rants to ruin his running but you can bet his fans will blame it on Obama when it comes.

Little do you know and it reflects in your posts. McCain has a strategic plan to invade Panama and to oust the illegal regime of Manuel Noriega. There now how does that sit with you? Huh Mr. Liberal Not Know it all/No it All? Leave the good Senator from Arizona alone he has accomplished much and still has a number of wars and missions in him. He will hunt that Noriega down and put him on trial.
