Sen. Barack Obama's campaign raised $52 million in June, his campaign manager said this morning - not quite a record for the high-flying campaign, but close to it. The campaign had raised $55 million in February, during the Democratic primaries.
But it's still more than twice what Republican rival Sen. John McCain raised during June -- $22 million.
I remember i saw a post by a mccain supporter questioning if Obama could raise more than McCain this june. LOL

McCain has had difficulties raising cash. Fortunately for him the Republican Party still has friends with deep pockets so that's where Most of McCains' funding may have to come from.
By the end of June, the Republican National Committee had nearly $68 million in the bank to help support the Arizona senator in the final push to the November 4 presidential election against Obama.
In contrast, the Democratic National Committee had just $4 million in the bank.
Plouffe said that McCain and the Republican National Committee still have a huge cash advantage, with nearly $100 million in the bank at the end of June.

How long have you been saying that now? And yet he still keeps winning EVERY head to head voting poll and keeps drawing in huge sums of support cash.
