another common sense reason obama will not be elected is the fact that he decided to not visit wounded troops in germany because there would not be photo shots of him there with them. americans will not go for this and see right through someone like obama who showed he cares nothing about troops and only himself. this is one of many reasons he will not get elected and it's amazing how many people in this country are living in a dream world and think this man has a chance. just amazing and so out of touch.
Yea, I could not agree more. I could never say that I trusted him enough to vote for him...but this is certainly a slap in the face for those that serve to be reminded the guy that wants to be "Commander in Chief" does not have the time for them.
From an email out of OEF seems that he was very "selective" about who he visited with there as well...ensuring he had time for basketball with a selective group for a photo op, but none of the general "meet and mingle" with common troops.

I posted this on another thread but many McCain backers seem to have a peculiar dense quality to them. Perhaps they're trying to emulate the old man.
Anyway, Obama didn't make the decision it was made for him by the Pentagon.

Ahh, common sense. Common sense tells us that if the Pentagon declines a visit, the visit doesn't happen. Just as a walk in the park towards the Queens residence, doesn't happen, when the Queens security says no.

How about the common sense reason McCain won't be elected? Tens of thousands of Republicans will be voting for Obama because they are fed up after 8 years of Bush. This happened after Carter. There were so many Democrats that were so disgusted by his policies they voted for Reagan. Reagan never really had a message. He was charismatic, had some great catch phrases and came across as breath of fresh air to many and an arrogant jerk to the hardcore Carter supporters. It amazes me so many do not see this parallel between Carter/Bush Reagan/Obama.

i see another repeat of election 2000 and 2004 when certain people were so bitter they could not see straight. people that will never accept facts when presented with them. just flat out will refuse to accept them. then always resort to personal attacks to boost their weak ego because that is all they can do. shame.
