Hmmm and he complains about how much someone else gets? Perhaps it is strategy to deny and complain so he gets the whiney support?
Michael Calderone's Blog: McCain to national press: You've got 38 minutes - Politico.com

from the article:
The presumptive Republican nominee spent a total of 38 minutes talking to print, television, magazine and radio reporters from national publications over the past week, according to the count on my recorder.

National reporters were given one opportunity to ask questions at a Friday afternoon press conference in Rogers, Ark. Otherwise, McCain delivered two statements to the full press corps totaling 9 minutes and 46 seconds and offering no chance for questions, and two statements to a select press pool

Is he worried about creating anymore of his special and magical moments?

I spoke to this issue last week in one of my posts..... the Rovian creeps are keeping JM on a VERY short leash, and tightly muzzled, so that no one can see how fragile he is at age 72, and especially so that JM doesn't make any more idiotic speaking blunders. Notice how few new "gaffes" are being reported since creeps like Steve Schmidt are involved in the campaign. From here on out, it's all attack ads and spin from the GOP, and very little camera time for JM. It's now Weekend at Bernie's Redux.
