I totally agree--people are not cliches. I know plenty of people in every demographic who don't vote they way you think they would. I know plenty of people in every demographic who don't like the attempts to reach out to them. I've never been a fan of demographics, or of polls.

White guys. And I have no clue how to bridge the gap, I think the best way is to point out the deficiencies in McCain's plans and his closeness to George Bush ( at least for the past 7 years or so). But I don't think that anything he does will sway the majority of them, if Obama is going to be successful, he needs a large turnout from his key demographics and maybe swing a few white guys who are on the fence.

White males in southern and Bible belt states.

They vote for the Republican candidate in every election by a staggering margin of close to 85% over the Dem opponent, that they skew the national numbers to make it appear that white males are overwhelmingly Republican, when in fact they are pretty much 50/50 everywhere else.

Thats absurd same can than be said for Obama supporters just change race .

I think its the Harriet Christians of the Dem party who are White college educated women who are not solid in Obama camp .
