Op- Did you hear Obama say he had already looked into this question? If anyone was tipped off it was him. How would he know to look into a question?
yes I remember that and if you use the entire context of what he said, he was referring to the subject that the question was about. What was so wrong with that. Quit putting your own spin on what he says.
Of course he knew all the questions, that comes with experience
One day obama will know all the questions.
Knowing all the questions would certainly help explain how he had an applicable story for every subject including the the sand and cross story which touched me as a Christian. Funny, I haven't seen any post from any of you in the other thread which shows that an except from a book published in 1973 is eerily similar to McCain's story. Hmm...wonder why he wouldn't use this story in any of his many published works and speeches on his POW experiences until now if it really happened.

Now this, ladies and gentlemen, is how a wise-arse response is supposed to be formulated. Since it was a powder-puff setup, I give it a 7.5 for difficulty, but a 9.3475830 for execution. Well played, sir.
The reason you dont see me another thread is because I am responding to this thread in its own context. If you want to try and argue my analysis and observations using the context of an entirely different thread I'd call that

Was this directed towards me? I was paying you a compliment; I thought your reply was the thread's best so far.
I was fully expecting Obama to blow McCain out of the water. I was truly surprised when McCain seemed so relaxed and was even amusing at various points.
No, I don't see any way McCain could have known the questions. There were people around him to make sure he was not cheating, but honestly - isn't that pretty lousy to ascribe cheating to him? After all - he would not have had a lot of time to figure out his answers even if he WERE cheating. The things he said were just genuine and were all along the same lines as things he has said in the past. The difference (and the surprise) was how relaxed and self-effacing he came across.
I was very very surprised as I had written McCain off as more or less worn out and boring.
He has. Look in the other thread. 2005, 2007 and many more times.
Okay so about the time he decided he would run for President and his team started trying to get him primed for the fundamentalist chirstian vote. His POW experience was in the early 1970's and I was barely a tot. You mean to tell me he couldn't recall such a story in the 70's, 80's or 90's but he can recall expressions and all the nuances of this story over 30 years later. It's strange whether you want to acknowledge it or not.
I believe both candidates got advanced notice on some or all of the questions. That's probably one of the negotiating points on both sides. I just think McCain's team knew it was make or break time and worked harder on their responses and coaching McCain while Obama's camp got a bit overly confident relying on McCain's past poor performances.
