This is the third bounce for McCain in the entire season, but the biggest one. More proof that smears, negativity and pat answers still work like a charm among US voters.

Let's see what happens when Obama goes on the offensive, if he'll hurry up and do it. He's way overdue to start. The whole right-wing smear factory has been running for a year now - reading the comments at the aol straw poll, there are still those who fervently believe Obama is a Marxist Muslim.

Enjoy it while it lasts, folks

Well, all that MCCain has done is to pop that bubble that the media put obama in. He has highlighted obama's own "words" to do that, with humor, imho. He has used obama's own records and words against him. Obama own flip-flops on Iraq, FISA, Campaign Finance, Drilling has done him no favors either.

Can you give an example of McCain "smearing" obama?

What did I say not too long ago? What the media has created, they can also destroy.

They seem to be making one excuse after another for him. Why?

I feel the real Obama showed up and we saw what he was made of.

So why can't they accept a defeat?
They have yet to accept that if they actually counted votes, Obama lost to Hillary

Hopefully McCain will maintain his lead and the US can continue on its downward spiral, the world will be a safer place as a result.

The only downard spiral I see is in the liberal party, no one, not a single sole living in my area is having problems, in fact we have flourished under this great economy.

Only those losers who made poor choices with their mortgages, got fired from their jobs, and misused credit cards are struggling. Along with typical 4 generation of welfare types.

I am sorry to tell you this, but if you want to see America go down the tubes real quick, go ahead vote for Obama. The one with his hand out and who has ties to terrorist and our enemies and who has yet to tell us the truth about anything.

Why do the libs make up this false information about the economy?

It is simply a lie.

We are safe, we are doing well and things are great here ! What more do you want? More handouts?
