considering half or more of his administration is composed of former banking executives and lobbyists, the venue seems entirely appropriate. the message is loud and clear...BO is rolling out the red carpet for his bankster buddies.

For real? Heh heh...living up to the worst we observe of him.

From a conservative viewpoint I'm quite pleased.

You do realize that in every single stadium in the US, corporate bankrolling gave it a name.
In Pittsburgh, it's Heinz Field, etc.

Much ado about nothing.
Oh, what a surprise.

How often does a political candidate accept his party's nomination in a stadium named after a corporation that the candidate funneled millions of tax dollars to all while claiming to be a man of the people?

Yeah, don't even try to spin that one like normal.

The Mother of All Ironies.

Mr. "I Hate Greedy Banksters" himself takes it to the Greedy Banksters' Backyard to accept the nomination.

He's transparent alright. Transparently Hypocritcal and Transparently Worthless.

With five of the nation's top 150 financial institutions headquartered in Charlotte, including the nation's top two largest banks based on deposits (Bank of America and Wachovia Corp [Wells Fargo]., which hold a combined deposit total of over half a trillion dollars), Charlotte has placed the NC financial industry on the map.

The combined financial assets headquartered in Charlotte total over $2 trillion, second only to New York City. In response to the interstate and international banking deregulation of the 1980's and 1990's, Charlotte-based banks and financial holding companies actively seek to establish strong regional, national, and international financial networks. They presently operate in 31 states plus the District of Columbia, 45 foreign countries, and hold foreign deposits that total more than $89 billion.

Oh, it's much ado about much! Not the same as Heinz and others that have stadiums named for them. When did Heinz commit business atrocities like BofA has? Now, seriously asking. I have not heard of them and also have failed to receive any reports that Heinz may be "in bed with" the BO admin.

Hey, way to go, BO for supporting OWS by giving this, some would say historic speech at this stadium, lol.

Also, as I heard today, this stadium was built with "non Union Labor!"
THAT's Obama....true to all of his supporters, not.

Bank of America and Obama have a "relationship."

I have not heard of any connection whatsoever of Obama and Heinz.

Have you?
