material for many a court battle. if a preborn is a person. we have had state supported murder exceeding the death toll of the 3rd reicht.
not good. it is what the catholic church has argued for some time.
the problem is we now use abortion as birth control as does japan that was never its intended purpose. i am not catholic but the arguments posed by mother theresa on this subject are eloquent, compelling and pursuasive

Ask Gianna Jessen, who survived an abortion/murder and has lived to tell it.

If Obama had his way and he has voted to allow alive babies to be murdered, she wouldnt be alive today.

Google her name.

Obama wont answer the question because he doesnt know or it is above his paygrade to make that choice, but then he voted to kill live babies on the table.

A baby is entitled to full human rights as soon as it takes it first breath, simple as that.

I disagree. In our society rights are recognized with maturity. I guess it depends on what one would define as full human rights.

Just like the people who are out there getting subprime loans and needing to foreclose: Americans make stupid decisions. Why do we make stupid decisions? It's because we think the world is simple and black and white.

Abortion is a VERY complicated issue from a social, medical, and moral stand point.

49% of the pregnancies in 1994 were unintended; 54% of these ended in abortion.

48% of women aged 15-44 in 1994 had had at least one unplanned pregnancy sometime in their lives; 28% had had one or more unplanned births, 30% had had one or more abortions and 11% had had both.

Who here thinks we need more single teenage parents?

Perhaps for the ignorant.

For the rest of us, medically, a fetus is a sentient being at about 12-14 weeks. Morally, we recognize that a sentient being has rights, and socially, we don't execute sentient beings without a trial, unless we're committing murder.

Speak to any physican that have trained or practiced before Roe v. Wade and they will tell you how commonplace it was to see young women showing up at the hospital near dead from self-induced abortion.
