This story is getting legs again because someone leaked out that Obama was in fact at that GD America sermon of Rev Wright.
Obama has said he was not in attendance that day because he was in Miami, but the same source is saying he didn't leave Chicago for Miami until late in the day.
So, did Obama attend this sermon then? Does anyone have an proof that he did not?
Obama has also been quoted that he would never miss one of his mentors sermons.
So if he was there then he lied, if he wasnt I sure would like see the proof he was not.
That he belonged to the church is bad enough, to those of us who care. Even Oprah voted with her feet at that place. Heck, I even quit a church I felt was too intolerant and hellfire.
And how can they prove he was or wasn't at a particular service anyway, other than a video?
Well, he did say (despite the fact that he claimed earlier to not have) in his "historic" (hahahaha) race speech that, yes, he did hear Reverend Wright say "controversial" things.
You guys remember, right? It was the same speech he spent lecturing America on how he couldn't disavow Rev. Wright anymore than his racist grandma, etc..... you know... before disavowing Wright a short while thereafter.
Yes. Not only was he there, he telepathically made Wright say those things, and then when Wright said them he ascended from his pew with hands lifted and eyes toward the heavens, praising Wright for saying all that was just and good.
Or maybe he just thought to himself, damn, it's time to think about starting to avoid this guy.
McCain can make a totally killer commercial about all of Obama's extremist ties. I wish McCain would make that commercial soon.
