Personally, I don't want to see this campaign devolve further into personal attacks on McCain--and vice versa. This only detracts from the very real issues facing us.

I'd like to see Obama's campaign focus heavily on two key issues:

the Economy and Health care.

These two issues affect many, many Americans. So many of us have suffered over the past eight years.

Who among us is better off?

Prices on everything have shot up, the U.S. dollar is devalued, the stock market is crumbling, our deficit is nuts, and many have to choose between medications and heating their homes.

Do we want more of this--only worse?

I sure don't.

If the number of jobs lost, number of lay-offs, number of foreclosures, number of Americans without ANY health insurance were the key issues-- these issues cross all political lines and parties.

With McCain, it very much looks like more of the same of the past eight years...this impacts all of us, except for the upper tier of wealthy.

So that's my advice.

Once again, it's the economy, stupid, as was said once before in a previous election. Very, very few of us are better off because of the governing of the past eight years...I want to vote for someone who cares about the 95% of the rest of us--and not the top 5% of Americans.

I'm just a voice crying out in the wilderness--just one of millions of the forgotten middle class, trying to survive. Proud of my country, knowing we can do better.

How many other posts are discussing issues rather than personal attacks on the candidates? Why is this? Sure, both McCain and Obama, being humans, will make mistakes in syntax and comments on occasion. Even tactical errors. Who cares? What about the issues?

The issues are of little concern. I don't believe either candidate has a plan to do what is necessary to reign in government spending and unlawful violation of the Constitution. That said, I feel that Obama is sticking to the issues more than McCain. Obama needs to get the DNC involved to do his dirty work. If he can't be blamed when AT&T hosts one of the most expensive parties at the DNC, he couldn't possibly be blamed when state DNC chapters begin to hammer away at McCain personally highlighting his corruption. Then again, Obama did vote for FISA and decided to give an unconstitutional law the chance to be voted upon by the Senate. His decision to vote with the GOP on cloture and then for the final passage of the bill highlights my contention that he is no different than McCain.
