If you listen closely, you can hear Keith Olberman and Chris Mathews having multiple orgasms over her speech. J/K
It was a good speech, but I don't think it will completely heal the wounds.

Lady please. You are no Democrat. You are simply posing as one to promote your pro McCain, pro Republican garbage. If you walk like a Republican, talk like a Republican and act like a Republican. You are a Republican.

I thought it was interesting that the commentators were talking about how all the Hillary signs had disappeared and were replaced with unity signs while the camera shot was showing hundreds of Hillary signs being waved around a few dozen unity signs. Obviously they were too busy reading their scripts and not watching their monitors.

Hillary gave a great speach, just not great for Obama.
Well said.

If you don't care what I think why respond? Again, you aren't a Dem if you vote for the other party and hope the Dem's lose. I'm a sports guy so thats where my analogies are at. I am a Red Sox fan, so how would it be if I said I want them to lose go Yankees. It means I am not a Sox fan just as you are NOT a democrat probably a republican who thought they'd be clever and say they were but was lying. Clever

"He is one of the most gracious men I have ever known."

"He, his lovely wife, and daughters are wonderful friends of ours."

Our next President has worked tirelessly and honorably to win this election for us all."

I don't know, ANY type of personal reference. NONE. She cannot stand him and he cannot stand her. And if you think this woman wants what's best for America (1st), you are mistaken. She and her husband want to get back in the White House at all costs.

She's looking ahead in four years and calculating which candidate winning would give her the best chance in 2012..

BTW, did you notice that nowhere in her speech she said "Proud Wife?" Could it be that now that she didn't get the nomination she gives Bill the boot?

Hillary Clinton: "You know, I'm -- I'm here tonight as a proud mother, as a proud Democrat...as a proud senator from New York...a proud American...and a proud supporter of Barack Obama."

Where's any mention of her husband in there. You can bet the house that if I were giving a speech like that and I didn't mention "Proud Husband" I wouldn't live to see the light of the next day.

Some serious stuff is going one folks. If you think that after last night the Democrat party is MORE united you're sadly mistaken.

Hillary did the very least she could do in that speech without giving Obama a personal endorsement. Think about it, if McCain wins the presidency, that gives her the best shot in 2012. THINK!

Oh, and what's with the following statement?

"I haven't spent the past 35 years in the trenches, advocating for children, campaigning for universal health care, helping parents balance work and family, and fighting for women's rights here at home and around the world..."

The White house and the life she has led has been in the trenches? I'd sure liked to have spent some of the time in trenches like those. I've been in some real foxholes and even though she can try and pull the wool over everyone's eyes with dodging sniper fire in Serbia this is just too much.

One more thing; why isn't Bill going to be present on the big night when Obama gives his acceptance speech? Wouldn't you think that's a bit of a snub on Bill's behalf. Like I said, Bill and Hillary do "just enough" but don't think for one minute they are behind Obama. THINK!

Oh, and BTW, I'm not voting for McCain or Obama. My vote will go elsewhere.
Very well stated.

She did a good job for the last couple of months and still didn't the get the VP nominee and it shows the lack of judgment of Obama and the jealousy.....why would you chose a man who got 9,000 votes over a women who got 18 mill votes and proved to be the better of the 2.....
Obama sure knows how to loose a campaign...... Obama also proofs to lack everything that is needed to become a president.....wow loser first class.

It amazes me how many people attack someone who does not blindly follow along with the party nomination.
There are many people out here who don't agree with either party 100% - hence so many independents. I've been registered Republican for many years, but I'm not excited about McCain, and would have seriously given Hillary some thought if she had won.
Obama and Hillary may be very close on the issues, but she has the experience that her husbnad gained by being more sucessful working in a bi-partisan way, and moving more toward the middle. Obama will not do that I don't think. So, frankly they are not the same. Not everyone agrees with whatever party they are in 100% you know. Sometimes character and leadership are very important.
