So where is the rebuttal libs?

Your boy wonder has filed to take away one of our constitutional rights and none of you are agreeing he is not.

What else is he going to take away from us?

As above, here is a so called constitutional lawyer who is using it against an American citizen and you followers are mum.

They didn't accuse him, they outlined a relationship with a known extremist using his words. Why not sue for libel? Why is he trying to get their funding investigated instead?

The Chicago Three: Obama, Ayers & Rezko
Overview: This is a story of big-city behind-the-scenes politics — of scratch-my-back and I’ll-scratch-yours backroom dealings. It is a story of how Bill Ayers and Barack Obama — sitting on a charitable board (for which they were paid) — aided and abetted the lucrative real estate development projects of Obama’s former law firm associate Allison Davis and Davis’s development partner Antoin “Tony” Rezko.

That's how he removed the person that named him as their predecessor. She brought him to Ayers house to start his career. Then later on down the road when she wanted to run again he had her thrown off the ballot claiming the votes for her were false....even having twice the amount needed. hey thanks anyways for starting my career good luck to you....

This might have been the first person under the bus of many. Wonder why she supported Hillary Clinton afterwords

Not only does Obama misrepresent the connection, Chapman writes, he appears not to understand what it says about him and his judgment.
The Chicago Tribune columnist offers a handy analogy :

But he is friendly with William Ayers, a leader of the radical Weather Underground.
(Though the last person who should object is Hillary Clinton, whose husband pardoned two Weather Underground members.)

Never mind that Obama and Ayers voted to give $75,000 to Rashid Khalidi, a Yasser Arafat protege in the PLO, during their tenure with the Woods Foundation.

Like to add:

"Baffling - neither the Woods Fund of Chicago nor the Chicago Annenberg Challenge Fund could reasonably be described as working for Mayor Daley; the Leadership Council of the Chicago Public Schools Education Fund fits that description, but it was the elder Ayers and the other Ayers who served with Obama on that board. There is a theory that Obama is pretty tight with the Ayers family, so maybe that caused his confusion."

"It is not likely Barack Obama, as chair of the Board of Directors of the Challenge, was not working closely with the co-chair of the collaborative. At any rate, it is not at all plausible that he could have been unaware of Ayers' role and later forgotten it."

You poor, misguided people... Do you really think four more years of Bush-like/corporate policies will help you, your families and this country? You spend so much time on this forum searching for dirt that you don't take time to honestly examine how another four years of these same policies will adversely affect this country - and you! If *somehow* McCain is elected and this country continues its horrible downward spiral, we won't have to look too far to know who to blame: The GOP spin machine working its mean-spirited, underhanded magic to maintain its corporate-based control over this country and its people.

You have the wrong assumption....unlike other elections this one started way way way earlier.....We all have gone over their policies.....just as I'm sure you have. We have come to the conclusion we don't want a certain person in office.

Now comes all the reasons why. You want to vote for someone who surrounded himself with criminals have at it....but when he breaks into your pocket in the "critical" time of need.....don't act as though no one told you so.

I'm not an Obama fan, but what concerns me about threads like this is that some of you don't hesitate to throw out mistruths and mischaracterizations. If this person is so bad, wouldn't the truth be enough? Obama didn't start his political career at Ayers' house. He had a meeting there once, shortly after announcing his Senate bid. He served on a philanthropic board with Ayers, they weren't buddies that hung out together. And they live in the same neighborhood. He's not suing for libel because he's a lawyer, he's figured out the quickest way to stop libelous ads is to have the FTC step in with an investigation. I think it's great that you're all so involved and passionate about this campaign, but slinging mud is a pretty ugly way to make your points. Why not post facts instead of half-truths and innuendos?
