For those that haven't seen the show, one of the main character's daughters gets pregnant and the mother sends her away to have the baby. The mother then fakes a pregnancy and pretends it's her own child.

Having your amniotic water leak is NOT an emergency unless you plan to take a dip in a sewer or something. Women who homebirth often go 24 hours+ after their water has broken. Just because modern medicine calls something an emergency doesn't mean it is.
Also, 36 weeks is considered full term, not a "preemie." A woman can homebirth safely at 37 weeks.
