OOPS! Someone beat you to that one....try again. Oh yes, and it's already been brought up that Obama made a blunder too by saying we have 57 states.
Then, there's Hillary's report of running from the plane dodging bullets, with Chelsea in tow....oops again!

Face it, they are all under a lot of pressure with very little sleep....mistakes will be made by both sides. Give them a break.

actually Hillary's was just a bold faced lie. She hates the military and never misses a chance to bash on them.

True....I agree. I was just trying to throw a little bi-partisan diplomacy into the mix.

Obama and Clinton SUPPORT and AGREE on:
-a woman's right to have an abortion
-Roe vs Wade
-necessity of availability of emergency contraception
-public funding for abortion
-federal funding of birth control
-sex education
-extending the rights of habeus corpus to Guantanamo detainees
-hate crime legislation
-race-based affirmative action programs of higher education
-investment in alternative forms of energy
-fuel efficiency standards
-protection of natural places from developmen
-greater investment in public transportation
-civil unions
-allowing gays to serve opnely in the military
-restrictions on access to firearms
-assault weapons bans
-background checks for gun purchases
-universal healthcare
-requiring employers to cover a significant portion of their employees' healhcare costs
-a withdrawal timetable for Iraq
-diplomatic relations with rogue countries like Iran and N. Korea
-increases in foreign aid to combat poverty and disease
-an increase in taxes on the wealthiest Americans
-an increase in federal minimum wage
-legislation restricting employers from interfering in union votes

Obama and Clinton OPPOSE and AGREE on:
-abstinence-only public education
-renewing No Child Left behind
-standardized tests to measure public scool performance
-teaching creationism along with evolution in public schools
-investment in drilling for oil domestically
-cutting federl funding to sanctuary cities that don't abide by federal immigration laws
-English as the official language
-an increase in US troop levels in Iraq
-privatizing social security
-eliminating estate taxes
-elimination of the Alternative Minimum Tax

Out of ALL of these stances, McCain does not agree with Hillary on a SINGLE ONE, while Obama and Hillary agree on EVERY ONE OF THEM. Moderate, extremist...call them what you like. The fact of the matter is that they BOTH AGREE on almost every issue out there, while MCCain is RARELY in agreement with Hillary on ANY ISSUES, ever.

They will become increasingly angry, increasingly mean, and increasingly testy with those of us who dont agree with them. Even today, they are hoping that another Katrina comes in and does terrible devastation just to block McCain from having his day in St. Paul. Feeding this idea will not help our cause, and I ask you to just stand your grounds, because you know you are right in this argument.

Desperation will take the form of personal attacks, wide spreading statements and generalizations about all Republicans, the increasing of attacks on McCain, and the increasing attacks on the actions of McCain and his supporters. Do not fall into their traps, they look like the whiny 3rd grader's that they are when they use names like "McNut" because they are unable to have a decent and civil adult conversation.

So as we head into the RNC and beyond, when McCain has a definate shot at winning this race, the Liberals will become extremely hostile, and I warn you to not back down, but be careful and dont feed into their lies and anger. Any positivity that comes the Republicans way WILL be attacked, and we should know that by now.

Please just stand your ground, dont back down, and know that you are most likely right if you strongly believe in your convictions. We have a lot of "Michael Moore" type Democrats that use these forums, and that extremism usually feeds anger.

Stay strong, and know that the only thing that matters is November 4th, the day John McCain will be elected president of the United States and the first female vice president will take office.

The media and Hollywood will not win and CANNOT think for us. Furthermore you and I know that a flashy, multi million dollar convention wont buy you the election. Independents and Republicans are stronger and smarter than their rhetoric.

Stand strong, fight for America, and stick with the cause. In the words of Paul Revere, "The Republicans are coming, the Republicans are coming!"

McCain/Palin, the REAL change Washington needs in 08'!
I have to day, you hit it right on the head. Have you noticed the vicious attacks after the VP was named? All I have to say is WOW, I don't think I have seen but a few posts towards obama, or biden as I have seen coming from the left side of the street.

You're probably having a hard time figuring out why...because no one has wished any such thing. I see you still haven't been able to produce a link that demonstrates your allegation. Still waiting...

Because he's pulling his bull**** out of his a** and doesn't have a quote to prove it. He's lying, and he knows it. I've been waiting for like an hour now, and he still hasn't produced my requested quote. He just attempted to point me towards some random thread, instead of backing up his allegation. Typical...

And after weathering nearly 8 years of Bush I'm astounded that anyone could possibly in their right mind vote for McCain, I mean McCain't.
Oh, but you see, now he'll have Palin, with all her infinite foreign policy knowlege and experience to back him up...
