I was a huge Babra Streisand fan and knew she was a Dem and has stayed at the White House when the Clinton's were in office....no problem, every one is free to chose, and so is she right now.

The difference this time is that she has been yelling at people in her ordiance who came to hear her sing while she was "campaigning" for Obama and gave a political speech!!!

If I would have spend so much money on a ticket to see her (maybe $ 1,500.- or more), I would be there to hear her sing and not hear her political view!

She did it more than once and now she is going to be holding a concert for Obama and he will be there....well good luck, after her first rant to the man in the ordiance and other incidents and knowing how difficult she is to other people who work for her.....I decided a while ago, that she is still a great singer but I'm done with her and I will never buy a CD. It might not make a huge difference but maybe others have the same feeling, just as the magazine that made such a lack of judgment error with their cover is finding out right now.

And please....Susan Surrandon and others who have said they will leave the country when McCain will win,.....start packing and keep your promiss!

These celebrities love to push their own politics. They are NO smarter than the average American voter, but they think they are.

yes they think they are but they will figure it out when their ratings or job are given to others.

Aren't we all watching the movies, just to enjoy them and not to hear them speak about politics....leave it to the politicians, just like we wouldn't like it if all politicians would act in a movie....we wouldn't watch it.

Yep, Linda Ronstadt did that last election too. And she was escorted off the stage and told to leave I believe. When you pay money for a ticket, you are there to see a concert - NOT hear the singer's political views! Most celebrities are not even that educated. Why in the hell should we care about or listen to their political views?

Another naive celebrity who thinks she is helping Obama, when in reality she is only putting another nail in his coffin. I like Obama, and think he is a personable guy who may have something to offer this country, unfortunately I detest a majority of those people who speak on his behalf. I don't think I am alone in this line of thinking either...

To be honest, when you have that kind of money, liberal tax and spend policies don't seem so burdensome.

Good post...I respect your choice and your believes although mine are different but we seem to agree on the fact that these "stars' think we are doing what they say....and they forget they make us think that we are too stupid to think our selfs!
