yes its all welfare
in this case the welfare recipient is DOD.

DOD does not ask, DOD takes.

you didn't make a valid point. you are assuming that all corporations are run by republicans. assumptions aren't valid.

Nope, it's unfortunate that you can't grasp such basic points.

if it were up to me, we would cut government spending by 90%, and the size by 90%. let's not make the assumption that the GOP is the war party. woodrow wilson was the one who wanted to make the "world safe for democracy." this goes along with the fact that bush isn't a conservative. he's a born again christian democrat.

True to a point, but 9/11 wasn't a "Normal" event. The fact that both parties have been spending like drunks sailors on a three day liberty to boot, isn't helping either.

I am not interested it what either candidate can do for me... How about leaving me alone and cutting Governments spending instead of trying to bribe me and then stealing from my paychecks to bribe others too.

Let the"free market" work itself out. Err, unless it means that rich corporations (and Republican Party donors) have to take a loss for poor corporate decision making. THEN, a government bail out is definitely in order. There is more than one kind of government "handout".

I agree. There are dozens upon dozens of threads in this forum...this is the useless one? It's a topic of discussion. If you don't feel it's relevant, either report it or move along. I mean what. The OP is taking time away from your vital cancer research or Pulitzer Prize-nomination worthy world peace dissertation? You're messing around on the comp and so are we. Please don't pretend posts like these offend your sensibilities.

Take a look at the Corporate Tax Bill of 2004 passed by a GOP Congress and signed by a GOP president. It included $10 billion in aid to tobacco farmers; a tax holiday for overseas earned revenue; tax breaks to special interests such as Alaska boat captains, NASCAR track owners and importers of ceiling fans and it included a tax break for GE of almost 8 billion. And 11.5 billion in aid for hurricane damage - why should the Federal govt. reimburse people who build and continue to build right on the ocean? All of these are GOP special interest groups. Both sides are equally looking for handouts.

Will always be happy to take any government bailout or handout.
The problem is they never offer me one.
