I just read on Freerepublic a story that had the link to the Russian "newspaper" Pravda (yes, it still exists). I don't know how to post a link, maybe someone brighter than I can do it.
The story is about Gov. Palin. It really is beyond description. They appear to be afraid of her....read it if you want a chuckle.
Anyway, the thing I took away from this, was a poster on the aforementioned website said they were afraid because Palin was WATCHING THEM FROM HER HOUSE. Pretty funny, as I bet she does!
It made me laugh. Then it made me think. She is being called Reaganesque/Thatcheresque by some. I think it is just high spirits...but hey if the COMMIES think she is someone worth cranking up the old propaganda machine....MAYBE THE COMPARISONS ARE APPROPRIATE!
1. Russia isn't a communist nation any more.
2. The vast majority of the Russian population lives in the European part of Russia, thousands of miles away from the closest Alaskan land. Boston is closer to Moscow than any part of Alaska is. If Russians seriously believe she can see them from her home, they're stupid.
You were being nice, now you are insulting me. I live in a "rural" area and my older computer REALLY can't do the things it used to on dial up.
I can link from my 2 other laptops, which I only use for business.
Just a rube looking for a little help.
