ABC's Gibson grilled Palin hard, but it may backfire - UPI.com

Take from it what you may, I thought it was pretty good.

He threw her some pretty easy questions. It only looked like she was being grilled because she was so ill prepared to answer these straight-forward questions. If you can't handle Gibson (Good Morning America, for Pete's sake), go back to the Little League.

There were MANY sneakily phrased questions that Gibson tried to trip up Gov. Palin with. I thought he was very rude toward her - often looking away from her and rolling his eyes - and intentionally was trying his best to make her look ignorant. The fact that they called this "THE INTERVIEW" is so arrogant, just like Gibson himself was being arrogant. I thought Palin did a good job, but I wish more people could hear the liberal bias screaming through every cell of Gibson's being. I agree that it's okay for someone to ask her tough questions because America wants to hear her answers to tough questions, but let's get someone who will do it more fairly. His questions were deliberately phrased to get her to mess up. Oh, and no question that Stephanopoulos was the polar opposite of Gibson in his interview with Obama - light hearted, respectful, and even helpful in correcting Obama's mistakes. My opinion of ABC news dropped over a cliff this week.

Im pretty sure you missed the point.

It even states exactly what you are trying to do here. Obama supporters will use it as proof she isn't ready, McCain supporters will do the opposite.

How bout you go back read the article and try again.

Edit: By the way, hope you are safe there in Houston.

when a candidate and her handlers refuse to be accessible to the media for interviews or live questions, THE INTERVIEW will happen.

Grilled her hard?? He barely scratched the surface! What was he supposed to ask her - 'what is the proper way to field dress a moose'?

If Palin would have answered the questions asked, rather than retrieving a campaign slogan from memory, I think the interview would have gone much easier. When an interviewer gets canned answers, they have to try a little harder to get more thought provoking, insightful dialogue. That is their job.

One could argue that Palin was the one who was being rude, because she danced around the issues, avoided anything meaningful, and offered no insights into what she really is. I learned nothing new about Sarah Palin from that interview. I believe that was her objective.
