I wish someone could explain to me how a Muslim attended a Baptist church for 20 years. (You can't have it both ways.) I think the same people who believe all the garbage that's on the internet about Obama also believe the Richard Gere/gerbil rumor. The more vicious and preposturous the rumor, the longer it lives.

1. Barack's close friends Rashid and Mona Khalid. Rashid is presently a professor of Middle Eastern studies at Columbia University. He has authored a book calling for the military extinction of the Jews from Palestine. He once worked as a communications officer for the PLO. After He and his wife Mona returned to the US they began fundraising and laundering money for the PLO and later for Hamas. Both Obama and William Ayers participated in a SCAM that took money from the philanthropioc Woods Foundation and paid Mona Khalid who sent money to PLO resistance fighters for weapons in Palestine.
2. Minister Louis Farrakhan of the radical Muslim group Nation of Islam, a friend of both the Wrights and the Obamas teaches a Marxist doctrine. There is research being done now that seems to indicate that Jerimiah Wright was once a follower of Islam as taught by Louis Farrakhan. There is also circumstantial evidence that Obama helped organize members of Trinity Church to attend NOI's Million Man March in Washington, DC.There are Nation of Islam volunteers who work in Obama's Chicago campaign office and at least 5 NOI workers being paid by the Nation of Islam work in Obama's national office.
3. Mousa Abu Marzook is the deputy of the political bureau of Hamas, the Islamic Resistance Movement. He and Obama have met both socially and diplomatically. Marzook wrote the Hamas Manifesto a blistering attack on Israel and the United States backing of the Isralei government. The Hamas Manifesto was reprinted with permission in Rev. Jerimiah Wright's "Pastor Pages for distribution to members of the Trinity United Church of Christ. Marzook has been indicted by the state of California for failing to report income and by the United States for Tax Fraud. He also is facing possible deportation as an for conducting a criminal enterprise (money laundering). Marzook maintains that Obama's election will clear his name.
4. Nadhami Auchi is an Iraqui born billionaire and British citizen who served time in a French prison. He was convicted of Fraud in the notorious Elf affair Chicago criminal Tony Rezko introduced Auchi to Obama. It is believed that Auchi arranged financing through Rezko for Obama to buy his Hyde Park home. Auchi has been and continues to be a regular contributor to Obama's political campaigns. It is believed that Rezko contacted Obama to help Auchi obtain a visa to enter the US in 2005 after being denied a visa the previous year. It has not been proven at this time and Obama has denied helping Auchi. As of Feb 2008 the Times of London has reported that "state documents in Illinois recording that Fintrade Services, a Panamanian company, lent money to (an) Obama fundraiser in May 2005. Fintrade's directors include Ibtisam Auchi, the name of Mr. Auchi's wife." Auchi also transferred 3.5 million dollars to Rezko in order to invest in Rezko’s 62 acres of prime real estate in Chicago’s south loop. Apparently Obama and Auchi met at a party in 2004.

McCain has been chairman of the commerce committe. He has bragged about being a deregulator for years. He and his buddy and chief advisor Phil Gramm undertook the deregulation of the banks, savings and loans, investment houses, and mortgage brokers. Gramm and his wife are directly responsible for the Enron scandal. McCain is the same McCain that was part of the Keating 5 that brought about the LAST savings and loan scandal and was censured by the house for unethical conduct in that mess...in which McCain's good buddy Keating went to prison. McCain married the daughter of a convicted mobster and bootlegger and had his career launched with mob money and mob influence. He has remained their go to guy over all the years. Well, guess you have no choice with the mob. Once you're in, you're in. McCain and Gramm are in large part responsible for the current economic crisis in which we now find ourselves. Once again, because of McCain, people are facing the loss of their pensions, their homes, their businesses, their security. Now those are true items that have true consequences for the American people. Not the made up "red scare" junk being hawked by the rabid right. Which scares you more, Obama's dead mother and a dead poet or McCain's current unethical cronies and their draining America dry?

I find it incredible that after all this time, Obama is still being called a Muslim. or a communist. He may have Marxist ideology, but there's not one single person who isn't outraged at the latest government acquisitions with AIG, Freddie/Fannie/ and whatever godawful plans they unleash tomorrow to "save" the economy, who can honestly claim that Obama would be worse than the current administration. With McCain and Palin already showing signs of repeating the same transgressions as Bush.

Upon his return to HI to live with his grandparents, the Dunhams, Obama became increasingly racist saying later in his autobiography that he "disavowed and held in contempt his mother's white race". His grandparents tried to control young Obama but they only recieved his hate and scorn. Obama soon became heavily involved in drugs and alcohol, numbing his brain and making him weak. He skipped school to get high wit hiz homies. Baby-mama Stanley Ann had arranged for young Obama to recieve tutoring in Communism from Frank M. Davis, a noted black poet who was at one time active in the Communist party in Chicago and later in HI where he worked to organize dock hands into labor unions.
Was it a coincidence that Barack went to Chicago after being encouraged to leave Harvard? The same Chicago where 20 years earlier his mentor Frank M. Davis had been a community organizer for the Communist Party!
Was it a conincidence that Barack's closest friends and Allies in Chicago from the begining were members of the Chicago Communist Party, The Students for a Democratic Society, The Nation of Islam and the Black Panthers?

I cannot BELIEVE the insanity unleashed on this forum regarding Barack Obama. Fear and paranoia ramped up exponentially. Obama knows a Muslim? OMG! Obama took a course on Marxism? OMG! Newsflash: Many people who get a college degree take courses on Marxism and Socialism. Many people experiment in their youth with different types of religions and ideologies. So what? It's called exploring the world. Seriously, these posts are getting to be positively maniacal.
Barack's brand of Socialism is pure Marxist idealogy. It's Communism with a different name. He has said many times he wants to redistribute the wealth in this country.

Michelle is right there preaching Marxism with Barack. Here in Charlotte during the primary she said the classic Marxist quote: "Some of us are going to have to give up part of our pie so that everybody will get a piece".
They aren't talking about Charity as we know it. What they are talking about are MASSIVE government giveaway programs that will accomplish their goal of wealth redistribution. Programs BIGGER and more CORRUPT than the fraud laden Welfare and Social security systems.
. . . . and how will they seize your assets? TAXES. I don't care what Obama says about not taxing the middle classes. He has already proposed over a TRILLION DOLLARS in new government spending and he's just getting started. To fund what he already has on the table would require a MASSIVE TAX INCREASE. A tax increase on every tax paying American!
