A "town hall" is not a debate

Where was Obama all the times McCain asked him to debate and he would not? Now suddenly Obama has to debate NOW? Obama is showing he cares more about HIMSELF than the economy. The debates can wait a week.

This comes first and foremost.

McCain is showing us he will put us first, which is what a real leader does.

To bad the other one did not have the brains or leadership abilities to come up with the idea first.
According to Katie Couric Obama called McCain this morning and suggested they make a joint statement.

McCain didnt do his homework and Palin's not cooked all the way through yet. Just admit the facts.

These debates have been scheduled for months, I think since June.

Why are you defending laziness and stupidity? Not Obama's fault they're not ready.

It's like one of those kids in high school who would whine and complain the day of a test, trying to get the teacher to reschedule. I can tell you, that really pissed off the kids who studied.

They were known as "the dumb kids." And they werent secretly smart, either.

Obama is putting the campaign ahead of America. If he really cared about debates, he would have accepted the town halls. Instead, he's playing politics when, as a Senator, he and McCain should be putting 100% into helping solve this crisis.

Default McCain is pathetic

He doesn't want to debate Obama at this time because then it will be CLEAR that mcCain is on the LOSING side of the political argument. What a cop-out!

Obama wins!
