In Missouri. This is unbelievable! So, anything they don't deem as true, per obama, they will hunt down and prosecute?

What kind of thug is this guy? Incredible.

Obama campaign cracks down on misleading TV ads on Yahoo! Video (http://video.yahoo.com/watch/3570822/9872219 - broken link)

I'd like to see them try to employ these kinds of tactics. This seems to be a violation of freedom of speech at the very least.

State and local officials using their positions for a political campaign.

i saw the video. your assertion does not agree with the video. obama is encouraging action against those who put up false ads re the campaign. your post suggests he is using cops to strong arm free speech, not so.

A thug? Because he wants the law to crack down on LIES in advertising?

But I guess I can see why you would be upset. That would be a real downer for the McCain campaign.

The only "thug tactic" here, sanrene, is your unending smear campaign against Obama.

Critical thinking skills aren't something McCain Palin supporters aspire to. They're taught what to think, not how.

The people who want to believe lies are going to believe lies, and the liars who feed them are going to keep cranking them out as fast as they can think them up. They're all perfectly happy with this arrangement. Gestapo tactics are completely the wrong approach to changing this sad situation - which I dont think can be changed actually.

I dont know what "the Missouri ethics laws" are the clip mentions, but these prosecutors are backed up by them. So... this is legal, but it's a real bonehead play.

I just wish they'd asked me. I would have charged them a lot of money to show them this forum.

It would be nice if they sent somebody by your house first...
