SNL is in love with Obama but made him out to be a stupid idiot because they know that responsible media is watching them.
Even NBC lashed out at Letterman's latest show of disrespect for McCain.
SNL is supposed to be satirical and funny. Well, they try to be at least. The show has sucked for many years now and you have to wonder about their viewers. NBC has suffered from obvious bias and when they start to lose money they start to make changes like removing certain news anchors on MSNBC.
As delightful as these networks are for liberals the business of the day is dictated by how much money they make or lose. More and more conservative bashing just leads to falling profits and poor reputability.
What are you talking about? NBC is the highest rated media outlet. SNL had the biggest rating a few weeks ago, The guy over SNL is a known Republican who supports McCain. McCain has been on the show more than Obama. As a matter of fact, McCain is the real celebrity. He has been in more TV shows and movies than Obama. I mean, the list goes on and on.... Now your facts before you start whinning about this "media bias"

Letterman's disrespect for McCain - McCain lied to Letterman, saying he had to rush away to Washington to save the economy. In fact he was trotting down the street to the safe haven of Katie Couric's show. An easily caught lie in the 21st Century. (Same as when he betrayed his own legend for the sake of a cheap score with a Pittsburgh radio audience, he doesnt seem to understand that communication technology has somewhat improved over the last 40 years.)
As for Letterman's "latest" disrespect - if you watched the show or a clip of it, you would have noticed Letterman went on and on and on and ON lavishing sincere-sounding praise on McCain. I think the sincerity is real because McCain's been on that show so often (that little anti-celebrity) - Letterman reminded viewers that McCain even announced his candidacy on Letterman's show.
So, why do you say "latest"? Or even "disrespect"? Is it disrespect to call out someone who lies to you?

You're forgetting the fact that the majority of US citizens DO NOT VOTE. I'm willing to bet that there are more underage viewers of shows like SNL than there are humorless Republicans, and it would do them more harm than good to start pandering to the boring conservatives.
