Apparently, they think it's "unfair" to Palin to weight the debate on the side of foreign policy, since Biden is more experienced than Palin. Further, they say that if the moderator does this, they will be called to task on it. These neo-cons still haven't figured out that ANY candidate for President or Vice President should be willing and ABLE to answer ANY question asked during the debates. Every time someone from the McCain campaign opens their mouth in defense of Palin, they merely advertise the fact that they selected a completely unqualified candidate. What happened to their "pit bull"? What a bunch of clowns.

How embarrassing! "Take it easy on her. She's a girl."

I truly do despair. So they're trying to dumb the debate down even more for her? If she really was the person they keep insisting that she is, none of this would be "necessary".

What happened to the Maverick? What a bunch of cowards. Honestly. The only reason the Presidential debate was changed to cover the economy is because of the "pending doom" of the country at that moment in time.

What questions do they want her to ask? If you were an animal what would you be? How do you properly field dress a moose or how do you make the idiot who chose you to run as VP look like an even bigger buffoon with everything you say? What a crock.

Idiots. And I'm really sick of them thinking that can control anything and everything too.
Bunch of whiners.

I figured this was going to happen, especially after the hysterical interviews.

So much for the Maverick and the Pitbull.

The look more like Ricky and Lucy. Or Lenny and Squiggy. Or Spongebob and Patrick.

This debate will be one for the record books, in more ways than one. If Palin is such a 'maverick' why did she look so grateful when McCain answered Couric FOR her during the interview and then *after* answering said, "I'll let Sarah speak for herself". Little late since he'd already stepped in front of Palin to make certain she didn't hook herself bloody again.

The media, at this point, is probably beyond puzzled frustration by the contradictions from that campaign. They (her handlers) can't seem to decide if they should set the little maverick out on her own (NOT) or if they should circle their wagons to protect their popularity-waning little maverick. The McCain campaign cringe meter is in painfully obvious overdrive.

CNN just showed an interview with the "gotcha journalist" (college student, I believe). Interesting.
