I do not know if I am even going to bother with the Presidential Debate this time. I am so frustrated with the questions the media asked in all the previous debates. They all sounded like the same questions that have already been asked and answered so many times. I suspect the candidates already know ahead of time what is going to be asked and have standard answers (talking points) already prepared.
I wish I could ask the questions and keep asking them until they really gave me an answer. If they got into prepared talking points I would cut them off and pin them down.
Why do they ask such predictable questions and let the candidates get away with talking points?
Most likely because they debates are arranged by the two parties. Neither one want questions that would be too hard or unpleasant to answer
IMO it is pretty much a puppet show.
