Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought the Sarah Palin "wink" was directed to her family in the audience. That was the impression I got, when I saw her wink.

She thinks that because it'd be a convenient explanation for an otherwise stupid move by someone who's trying to become VP. Doncha know???

Default How creepy is this??????

How many conservative white male horn dogs are there like this?

"I'm sure I'm not the only male in America who, when Palin dropped her first wink, sat up a little straighter on the couch and said, "Hey, I think she just winked at me." And her smile. By the end, when she clearly knew she was doing well, it was so sparkling it was almost mesmerizing. It sent little starbursts through the screen and ricocheting around the living rooms of America."

The Corner on National Review Online=

How many of you Palin supporters think she is winking at you?

CREEPY!!!!!

"I have to tell you, you know, it's part of reporting this case, this election, the feeling most people get when they hear Barack Obama's speech. My, I felt this thrill going up my leg. I mean, I don't have that too often."

--Chris Matthews, February 2008.

Deflecting is a tactic - not a strategy.

That's like the person who posted that they were hyperventilating over the debate Thursday night. What the hell is wrong with people?

I didn't think it was deflection, I thought it was just another example of weirdness.
