Why is mccain talking about ayes and not the economy? Imho, I really think that mccain is a sacrificial goat meant to lose this election. It is the only thing that makes any type of sense. The next potus is going to be in for a rough ride to say the least, and should obama win (which I do believe he will) he will have to pull a miracle out of his *** in order to get this country in a good and stable place by 2012. I think this is the October surpise -- the gop doesn't want to win this election. I wonder if they told mccain?

DOW down nearly 750 (OUCH!!!!!)

FOX is of course still pushing the Ayers connection, but the Market crises is dominating the news on the other networks. Pretty much all aspects of the economy are getting worse - and I expect that will continue. The result is that the ECONOMY will completely dominate the election. Unless things improve substantially very quickly the Ayers thing will fade into the background.

I may have considered McCain an honorable war veteran before this campaign, but not now. Shame Shame...

I'm beginning to think Sarah Palin has more on the ball than McCain, and that sure ain't saying much.

Who would want to turn our country over to these creeps. McCain can't multi-task and Palin is a joke.

If McCain doesn't do well in tomorrow's debate, it's all over. It's almost over now, but a dismal performance would be the final nail in the coffin.

Anybody have a hammer?
